The Old Carey Grammarians Football Club (OCGFC) recognises that we are more than just a football club.
The Club has an obligation to be a strong contributor to the broader community and to provide an inclusive, supportive culture. The OCGFC maintains a close relationship with the Carey Grammar Baptist School and those with a connection to it.
The Club invests time in educating our players about social issues and is active in highlighting worthy causes. Across the past couple of years, we have welcomed many key speakers into our clubrooms – these include: The Tomorrow Man (Men’s Issues) and Tyrone Bean past player and Kabi Kabi and Wakka Wakka Traditional Owner (Indigenous Education)
The off-field success of our club and community is as equally important as our on-field success. It is incumbent on our Club to participate and engage with our community to help where we can. We aim to be a club that upholds an excellent reputation through our actions and engagement with our community.
