The Panther Footy Factory had a brief, well-earned shutdown for scheduled maintenance, but the furnaces are being stoked, the oil is fresh, and the conveyor belts are warming up!
We’re ready to get back to the serious business of producing champions and engineering famous victories for the 2026 season.
Your first shift at the factory starts soon – no experience necessary.

Our Club had 225 registered players in 2025 and fielded 5 teams in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) from Senior Men and Women right through to an Under 19 Men’s and a Men’s Social side (3rds). The VAFA is a widely regarded competition and includes state representative opportunities. While we aspire to be successful – we mainly aspire to create a welcoming environment where like-minded people connect and feel safe to be themself.
The 2025 Season has just concluded with finals appearances for four of our teams. The Men’s Premier B team & Women’s Division 2 sides – consist of a very young profile with a great majority of the teams being leavers from 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024. With the club on the up, we’ve invested heavily in coaching for 2026 and will add 3 new faces – including Andrew Harwood as our new women’s coach.
Many players have an eye on playing football at the highest level they can – which we encourage – our club is well connected to VFL & Coates League Clubs and can support these aspirations. As a simple premise, we’d like all footballers participating at higher levels to nominate Old Carey FC as their local club.
Training will resume 24 November 2025 with all training details captured below. Come down and help yourself to an OCGFC / OCGA singlet. The club will break for Christmas in mid-December and return late in January 2026. We will share information about registering in early February.
