The club very quietly deployed its digital honour board across the weekend, a continual work in progress that ensures visitors (in particular past players) who attend our home fixtures on Dunshea Oval are appropriately recognised for their contributions across 75 years of Old Carey Football.
Our traditional wooden honour boards remain in our OCGA rooms as important historical artefacts – however with gamedays and after-matches living in Gadsden Pavillion in more recent times – A digital record appearing on-screen in the rooms is equally important.
For those that saw the digital honour this weekend just gone – they will have noted a few gaps in our records, which we are continuing to work upon. In particular, there is a swathe of legacy club coach names, ladder placings, best and fairest recipients and captains that we’re intent on filling across the senior, reserve and under-19 teams.

If you can assist with providing information to plug these gaps – please contact club secretary Sam Hassett sam.hassett@bio101.com.
