The Tributes Flow – Val & Max Evans | Ian England

With the competition ever-evolving and growing, a significant number of the VAFA awards have yet to be officially named. Starting back in January the club was asked to put forward any storied club characters who might be suited to having their name immortalised on an award.

Our committee quickly put forward several names and were delighted recently, when we were informed Max Evans, Val Evans & Ian England will be recognised as part of this initiative.

As we approach our Club’s 70th Birthday in 2024, it is important to educate our current members about our past panthers. This is a top priority for us. We thank Ian, Val and the late Max for their Service to the club.

To read more about Max, Val and Ian head to the Club History Document – this document is regularly updated and we welcome contributions in picture and written form from any members past and present (contact info@oldcareyfc.com.au).
